Requesting a Mortgage Certificate
Mortgage Certificates cover a 10-year period prior to the search date.
Requirements
- Must be a written request.
- Names must be provided exactly the way you want them searched.
- Must include the legal description of the property to be searched.

Requesting a Clear Lien Certificate
The search period for a clear lien certificate begins on the contract date.
Submission Requirements:
- Must be a written request.
- Must include owner and contractor names as shown on the contract.
- Must include a description, job #, or project # to be searched.
